The Boondocks: The Complete First Season

"The Garden Party"

The Freemans are adjusting to life in Woodcrest. Robert is invited to a ritzy garden party by tycoon Ed Wuncler, but is concerned that his grandsons will embarrass him in front of his new neighbors. At the party, Huey tries to enlighten the partygoers with the "truth" while his brother gets his hands on a loaded shotgun.

"Guess Hoe's Coming to Dinner"

Robert falls in love with a young woman, Cristal (She makes sure to add: "Like the Champagne"), but is oblivious to the fact that she is a prostitute. She moves in with the family much to the chagrin of Huey and Riley, who plead with their grandfather to see the woman for who she really is — a "gold-diggin' ho".
→ Katt Williams guest stars.

"Granddad's Fight"

Robert is humiliated when he loses a fight to a crotchety old blind man named Stinkmeaner. Egged on by Riley and the ridiculous amount of media coverage the event receives, he challenges the man to a rematch. Huey, believing the old man to be a highly-skilled blind warrior, similar to Zatoichi, puts Robert through intense preparatory training. Only to find out that stinkmeaner is simply "A blind man who got lucky."

"A Date With The Health Inspector"

Tom DuBois is arrested for fitting the description of the "Xbox Killer". Huey and Riley enlist the help of Ed Wuncler III and his friend Gin Rummy to find the real killer so Tom won't have to face his ultimate fear: being sent to prison and anally raped.

"The Story of Gangstalicious"

Riley's favorite gangsta rapper, Gangstalicious, is shot and hospitalized in Woodcrest. He visits him in the hospital only to learn the truth about Gangstalicious and the meaning of “Thuggin’ Luv.” Riley narrates.

"A Huey Freeman Christmas"

Huey is given creative control over his school's Christmas play. He uses the opportunity to unleash his vision onto the world. Meanwhile, Riley revives an old grudge with Santa.

"The Real"

Robert, following Riley’s advice, pretends to be blind to get his ride pimped. Things turn badly when Extreme Makeover: Home Edition shows up to add a new wing onto the house. Meanwhile, Huey is being stalked by a mysterious secret agent, or perhaps his paranoia is simply playing tricks with his mind.
→ Xzibit and John C. McGinley guest star.
"Return of the King"

Martin Luther King, Jr. wakes up from a coma after 32 years, and is thrust into a much different world than the one he remembers. After being ostracized and castigated by the post-9/11 world for applying his philosophy of peace to terrorism, Huey motivates Dr. King to revive the civil rights movement by creating a Black Revolution Party.
→ Kevin Michael Richardson guest stars.

"The Itis"

With financial help from Ed Wuncler, Robert opens Woodcrest’s first soul food restaurant. Though extremely popular, the restaurant ends up having a corrosive effect on the once-friendly neighborhood.
→ Ed Asner and Candi Milo guest star.

"Let's Nab Oprah"

Riley, Ed Wuncler III, and Gin Rummy try to kidnap Oprah. Riley ends up being the brains of the operation due to the ineptitude of the former duo. His brother, however, catches wind of their plan and takes it upon himself to stop them and set Riley straight.
→ Charlie Murphy and Samuel L. Jackson guest star.

"Riley Wuz Here"

Riley is caught painting graffiti and is forced by Robert to take art lessons to scratch his artistic itch. Little does Robert know that Riley’s strange new art teacher is no ordinary tutor and is fond of painting “murals” himself. Meanwhile, Huey decides to watch “black” television for two straight weeks to determine if doing so negatively affects his health.
→ Rob Paulsen guest stars.

"Wingmen"

Robert is asked to give a eulogy in Chicago for his deceased World War II friend, Mo. Huey is given the opportunity to reconnect with his old friend Cairo, whom he had lost contact with. Things don’t go as planned for either of the two, and both Robert and Huey find it hard to negotiate the past.
→ Mike Epps guest stars.

"The Block Is Hot"

An abnormally hot winter's day causes the citizens of Woodcrest to act out in a strange manner. Jazmine opens a lemonade stand and sells out to Ed Wuncler for the price of a pony against the advice of Huey. Consequently, she learns the true value of a hard day’s work.
→ Ed Asner guest stars.

"The Passion of Reverend Ruckus"

Uncle Ruckus dreams about a "white heaven" and is diagnosed with cancer. He dedicates the remainder of his life to preaching to the world about loving the "white man". Meanwhile, Huey devises a comprehensive scheme to try and bust an unjustly imprisoned death row inmate out of jail..
